Spring is in the air.

On Monday, my big boy Nathan turned 4! I still cannot believe it. But, sometimes when I talk to this boy, I feel like I'm talking to a 10 year old. We had the most hilarious conversation on Easter Morning. The four of us were sitting around the table eating breakfast, when he notices that I am staring at him...

Nathan: "Why are you staring at me?"
Me: "Because I can't believe my baby is turning 4."
Nathan (to Mike): "Why are you staring at me?"
Mike: "Because I can't believe my baby is turning 4."

A few seconds pass...

Mike (to Nathan): "Why are you staring at me?"
Nathan: "Because I can't believe Lola's (grandma) baby is turning 33!"
What? How in the? I don't know, sometimes I think that kid is a genius. I may be biased, but come on! How does a 4 year old remember how old his parents are? AND know what age comes after that? Pure genius! ;) Mike and I were laughing about it all day.
Happy Birthday, Sweet Pea!

If it wasn't for all of this almost-a-hurricane wind (seriously, it got up to 65 mph), we'd be able to go outside and enjoy the spring weather. Instead, we stayed in and I worked on this...

  1. Nah, I think you've got a genius on your hands. He'd get along great with my little guy who brought me his "Underwater Creature" book and proceeded to explained bioluminescence to me. Uuuuhhh, yah, he definitely sucked all the brain cells out of me. Man, I'm in for it when he starts school & I'm expected to help with homework!

The cards are lovely! I just finished a commissioned work yesterday for a Bridal Shower and used the same color (it's a Daisy though).
